Passed peacefully away at the U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre St. Lawrence on Sunday May 10, 2009, Isabel Laura Slaney of St. Lawrence in his 80th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories sons Keith (Betty) of St. Lawrence, Wayne (Jackie) of St. Lawrence, Rick (Dora) of St. Lawrence, Ed (Mary) of St. Lawrence, and Paul (Sandra) of Brockville, ON; daughters June (Gerald) Edwards of Lawn and Muriel of St. Lawrence; sisters Olive Hobbs of Toronto, ON and June Bennett of Cambridge, ON; brothers Holgar (Emma) Beck of Bay L’Argent, Winston (Greta) Beck of Pickering, ON, Vibert (Isabel) Beck of Brockville, ON, Wilfred (Maurine) Beck of Toronto, ON, and Cyrus (Charlene) Beck of Toronto, ON; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by husband Vincent and daughter Laura.

Resting and Visitation to take place from St. Thomas Aquinas R.C. Church in St. Lawrence on Sunday May 10th from 4pm - 9pm; Monday May 11th from 11am - 9pm; and Tuesday May 12th from 11am - 9pm. Funeral Mass to take place at St. Thomas Aquinas R.C. Church in St. Lawrence on Wednesday May 13, 2009 at 11:00am. Interment to follow at the Mt. Cecilia R.C. Cemetery in St. Lawrence.
